Brompton Technology’s Dynamic Calibration technology allows the LANG team, and Absen, which produces the Venus screens, to make the Venus series brighter than conventional LED screens.
LANG AG has invested in Brompton Technology Tessera’s LED video processors to complement its Venus and Jupiter LED panels for high-quality and high-resolution applications.
Brompton’s Dynamic Calibration technology has enabled the LANG team, and Absen, which produces the Venus screens, to make the Venus series brighter than conventional LED screens.
The Tessera software features PureTone, ThermaCal, Frame Remapping and Extended Bit Depth and Stacking. These offer LANG customers a wide range of opportunities, in terms of virtual production and virtual studio projects.
Manuel Müller, LANG AG’s rental director, said: “Our goal with Venus and Jupiter has always been to set a benchmark in the LED market. With this in mind, after resolution, two of the things that are most important to us are usability and brightness – and Brompton’s Tessera LED processors serve a perfect match for those key requirements. We are able to surpass the brightness for those applications that require exceptionally realistic-looking visual content and extra-wide colour gamut by utilising Brompton HDR.”
Peter Mathia, chief executive at LANG AG, said: “Quality always comes first, which is why our product managers put every new product through a vigorous test regime, in order to provide our customers with state-of-the-art technology. Therefore, it is self-evident why we have chosen Brompton LED processing for our Jupiter and Venus panels, to keep our standards and guarantee our customers the most sensible solution.”
Dries Vermeulen, business development manager Europe at Brompton Technology, said: “We hope our innovative LED video processing solutions will continue enabling industry leaders such as LANG to provide its customers with cutting-edge technologies, no matter the scale and size of the event.”
