The six single-chip laser phosphor projectors, which range from 7K to 22K lumens, are benefiting from the increasing demand for interactive experiences in theme parks and museums.
Sales of Barco’s G-series single-chip laser phosphor projectors have passed the 10,000 mark.
The series features six projectors offering between 7K and 22K lumens, which are suited to providing interactive experiences in theme parks and museums, as well as for digital art installations.
Frederik Bouckaert, Barco’s product manager for projection, said: “Upon the launch of the first G60, it was an immediate bestseller. As the platform continued to grow with the addition of new models like the G62 and the G100, so did the sales volumes, especially in the last year.
“We’re proud to now have 10,000 G-series projectors in the field with installations in prestigious award-winning projects such as Culturespaces’ digital art exhibitions, Expo 2020 and Museum of the Future.”
Visitors to ISE can learn more about the G-series on Stand 3D400 at the Fira Barcelona, Gran Via from 31 January-3 February.
