The DTEN D7X series, which is available in 55″ and 75″ models, turns meeting rooms into collaborative spaces for hybrid working, with greater computing power and advanced AI features.
DTEN has launched the AI-powered DTEN D7X series, which is purpose-built for Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom.
The company — which provides video-first, touch-enabled conferencing solutions — recently announced that it intends to pursue Certified for Microsoft Teams designation on its most-popular collaboration devices.
The DTEN D7X series offers BYOD flexibility and is designed for use in medium to large conference rooms, huddle spaces, training centers and home offices. Its all-in-one design combines AI-powered video, sound and whiteboard into a lightweight device that is available in 55″ and 75″ models.
High-definition visuals are powered by a built-in 4K wide-angle camera, with a 129° field of view for a more-panoramic room view, and 20% greater video clarity than the previous model. Augmenting AI functions include smart framing.
Sound is optimised through a 15-microphone array, enhanced speaker clarity, and volume four times more powerful than on the previous generation. AI automation includes noise reduction and echo cancellation.
The DTEN D7X series can be set up using a single USB-C charging cable, while additional screens or devices can be connected via additional HDMI and USB-C ports.
A Windows edition is available, while an Android model will be introduced later this quarter.
Wei Liu, the company’s founder and chief executive, said: “The DTEN D7X Series takes video collaboration to the next level with true clarity of presence, fully interactive touch, and AI-enhanced meeting experiences. “Our customers gain brilliant video, rich room-filling sound and interactive touch-enabled tools right out of the box. Plus, our devices are designed to be future-proof, with new advancements easily made available through simple firmware updates.”
