The quasi-3D illusion has appeared on a 170 sqm, 25-million pixel totem installed at the Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi in a project undertaken by Necsum Trison.
A giant snake that twists and turns and appears to pounce out of a 170 sqm digital totem, capable of displaying more than 25 million pixels, has been seen at a shopping centre in Abu Dhabi.
The forced perspective illusion is one of a number of eye-catching creative content packages bringing the Necsum Trison totem to life at the Yas Mall which was developed by Aldar Properties.
In a case study video, the giant LED display also shows a Tyrannosaurus Rex roaring, a finned sea creature beneath the ocean, a giraffe, a propellor plane, the simulated projection mapping of an architecturally imposing building, King Kong the gorilla behind bars, and a Classical era statue blowing bubblegum.
