A black screen is a common problem with LED displays. There are many reasons for the black screen, which may be caused by the control card, power supply, module, cable or short circuit. The main reasons for the black screen are mentioned below. USER Display provides some solution that can help you tackle the issues.
1. Please make sure that all hardware, including the control system, have been powered on correctly, note: 5V should not be reversed or wrongly connected
2. Check and confirm whether the serial port cable used to connect the controller is loose or falling off. We recommend that if the screen goes black during the loading process, it may be caused by this reason, that is, it is caused by looseness during the communication process. The communication line is interrupted, causing the screen to go black. Don’t think that the wires can’t come loose without moving the body of the display. Please check it yourself, it is very important for you to solve the problem quickly.
3. Check and confirm that the LED display and the hub power distribution board connected to the main control card are tightly connected and inserted in reverse.
4. Please check and confirm whether the 50-core flat cable connecting the control card and the hub power distribution board is loose or reversed.
5. A black screen will also appear if your display interface definition does not match the provided hub board. Please recheck your jumper for loose, open or shorted wires. If you think you have matched ABCD and other signals one by one, please check if the OE signals are connected correctly, LED display manufacturers strongly recommend using a hub power strip that matches the definition of the display interface.
