ISE boosts focus on content production and distribution

ISE 2023 has increased its focus on content production and distribution by introducing a dedicated show floor experience in Hall 6.

The show, which will host more than 70 dedicated exhibitors in the field, has also added a content production and distribution summit and a keynote focused on Epic Games’ Unreal Engine platform.

In the new Content Production & Distribution Zone in Hall 6, Grup Mediapro’s Content Studio will feature a virtual production set to host C-Suite interviews and panel discussions. Visitors to the stand will be able to gain first-hand experience of recording content using virtual production through Unreal Engine.

The Catalan Audiovisual Media Corporation (CCMA) will be sharing its experience in immersive production and audio and image transmission systems, with visitors able to see how innovative 360° cameras are used to create content or a live broadcast.

The Esports & Gaming Showcase from Absen, with support from PSCo and Big Purple Productions, will highlight the latest LED displays designed for gaming and esports, together with the technologies required to create, capture and distribute gaming content. A gaming league will run throughout the show.

The VP XR Theater by Alfaite and Brainstorm will feature a complete XR, AR, MR and VR environment within a 90° Alfalite LEDWall and Brainstorm InfinitySet.

Other initiatives will see SONO and Brainstorm team up to highlight the technologies involved in creating digital venues for when someone is speaking or presenting, while NewtonLab Space’s The Show Window installation will showcase how retailers can use high-end LED walls rather than real items in their store fronts.

The new Content Production & Distribution Summit, on 31 January, will explore the strategies and technologies behind the creation, management and distribution of video content and explain how the power of a story can be unleashed via easy to access technology.

Mike Blackman, managing director of Integrated Systems Events, said: “As our industry continues to evolve, so does ISE. We recognise the exciting innovations impacting our markets and are delighted to welcome a host of new initiatives showcasing content production and distribution.”

ISE 2023 will take place at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via from 31 January-3 February.
