While still at Amsterdam, the show received 52,000 visitors in early 2020, in a show affected by early worries over Covid and by a storm, and received 81,000 visitors in the peak pre-Covid year of 2019.
At last week’s show in Barcelona, there were more than 1,000 attendees at seven ISE conferences, together with 843 exhibitors covering 48,000 square metres of show floor space. Some 47,000 local people are also said to have viewed ISE-related projection mapping.
In a public statement, Mike Blackman, managing director of ISE, said: “We are so pleased to have provided a successful platform for our exhibitors and partners to showcase their innovation and technology solutions. As we all recover from the impact of the pandemic, it is wonderful to be here in Barcelona with what feels like a ‘normal’ ISE in its new home.”
ISE returns to Barcelona from 31 January to 3 February in 2023.
