Images of the late queen Elizabeth and the new monarch Charles III were displayed, as two-year-old drone art specialist Celestial provided 400 drones for the celebrations.
This year’s London New Year’s Eve celebrations took place with the support of 400 UAVs from live drone show specialist Celestial.
The show drew a crowd of around 100,000 who lined the banks of the river Thames to see the drone display and around 12,000 fireworks.
The display included images of the late Queen Elizabeth and the new King Charles, with a soundtrack that ranged from Neil Diamond to Stormzy.
Celestial was brought in to work on the show just two months before the end of the year, according to an account in the Times Newspaper. The company was founded two years ago and is based in Frome, Somerset.
The company worked alongside Titanium Fireworks, Tim Routledge Lighting, David Wakefield, and Kojo Samuel in the project for Identity, The Mayor of London, the Greater London Authority, and the BBC.
