Dutch police have received 300 tips in the cold case of a man who raped two girls and attacked a third in 2010, after developing a hologram of the suspect.
The life-sized hologram was displayed in a holobox in two shopping centres and on TV crime investigation programmes.
Dutch press reports say that police have narrowed down the number of suspects from 300 to 40 men. The police are now approaching these men for DNA samples.
The perpetrator of the crimes raped two girls in Schiedam and Vlaardingen in the Netherlands while a third intended victim managed to escape. The girls were aged between 13 and 15.
